Mastermind for Coaches:

finding well-paying clients

with serving instead of selling

Two calls per month for 6 months,
group work in a community,
two individual sessions

Most coaches love coaching and admit to not being great at business.
They struggle with things like

  • creating clients

  • dealing with fees

  • reaching out to people

  • following up and staying in touch

  • creating and maintaining relationships

  • being too friendly, too humble, instead of professional

  • taking things personally, self-sabotage or over-confidence

  • social anxiety, worthiness issues, self-doubts, self-confidence

  • struggling to deal with rejection or being ghosted by a client

  • money issues, self-limiting beliefs on money, business, and selling

  • focusing on things that are not making a difference in their business

  • copying what everyone else is doing and hoping, wishing it would work

  • feeling lonely with your problems, questioning yourself and your abilities

  • trying out new things, not having quick success, being frustrated, and quitting

It is easy to fall in love with coaching because it is the best profession in the world. But for most coaches, it is hard to fall in love with the business side of this profession. E.g. to be visible instead of hiding. To reach out to people you are inspired to work with instead of waiting for them to come to you. With sales and making offers. With asking for money. With raising fees or keeping them at the level that serves you and your business. With doing what is necessary for growth.

For newer coaches, it might be about creating and growing a sustainable income. For seasoned coaches, it might be about recovering from changes that affected your business, becoming more independent from platforms and referrals, working less with mandated clients, creating corporate clients, increasing your fees, making more time to spend ouside of work and more.

Either way, for most of us, it’s a learning curve. And coaching can be a lonely profession. And there are a lot of frauds out there who make bold promises and do not deliver.

And even if you have excellent business education and experience, offering your services or adapting them is a serious challenge. For many it feels like “offering and selling yourself”. Dealing with changing economy, customer needs, and technology. It requires dealing with complexity and chaos. Setting up systems in place.

Systems are great because you can experiment with them, upgrade them, or replace them. Here is one example: If your home is a bit chaotic, one way is to blame yourself for “being a messy person”. Another way is to see that the only thing you miss is a system that works. Because we always fall to the level of our systems.

FAQ

Q: How can I apply or secure my spot on a waiting list?
A: Schedule your conversation. We will get to know each other, see if it’s a good idea for you to join, and if we both can commit to working together.

Q: I have too many things on my plate. 5 projects besides growing my coaching business…
A: It’s up to you if you want to make growing your coaching business and the skills needed your absolute priority. If not, this Mastermind is probably not for you, at least now. Your business only can grow if you focus on it. And I want to invite you to reflect on your definition of “focus” and “priority”.

Q: Two sessions per month 2h each for six months, plus reporting the numbers, plus individual coaching, plus peer work and applying it, experimenting, reading, individual exercises and assignments - it sounds like a lot of work.
A: If it sounds like something you might not be able to commit to, this Mastermind is not for you. If you are willing to do the work, let’s talk.

Q: How many people are we going to have in the group?
A: This group is limited to 12 participants. First come, first serve.

Q: When do we start? What are the dates and times?
A: The start date for the next cohort is open. If you want to have a conversation and be able to secure your spot, let’s talk.

Q: Why do I have to report numbers?
A: It is about accountability. And what gets measured, gets done. We are going to look at your numbers and create ideas for making your business grow, supporting you, making your enrollment process stronger and more effective. It will support your growth as a business owner and a professional. Your group is going to cheer you up, support you, and celebrate your successes. It is a complete game changer for every coach willing to learn the art and the mastery of ethical enrollment.

Q: I do not have two paying clients yet. Is it still for me?
A: Let’s have a conversation. Maybe I can help you create your first two paying clients. Then, and only then, you are eligible to apply for this Mastermind. Here is a secret: the fee does not have to be high or “right” at first. They can even pay you what they think it’s worth for them. Try it out and tell me how it worked out for you.

Q: Is this good for marketing and social media?
A: If you are looking to improve just that, this Mastermind is not for you. We might take a look at how to use social media for your enrollment, but we are not going to deal only with your marketing strategy, niche, target audience, visibility, or social media or content strategy.

Q: What if I have to miss a session, e.g. being ill?
A: We will record the sessions. You can watch the video later. Of course, it is better to participate in a live session.

Q: What is the catch here?
A: There is no catch. The only caveat of systems, practices, and disciplines is that you have to actually do it - consistently, to stay in the game. And you will create the results, as many other coaches did before. And we will look at what prevents you from taking action, and we will eliminate every excuse together.

Q: What if you can not answer my questions? And no one in the group can as well?

A: In this case, I am willing to use my support system and network with other coaches, mentors, and supervisors as well as the business school for coaches I am enrolled in - where I can ask any question and be coached and mentored on that. As soon as I have the update, I will get back to you.

Q: Are we going to get some materials, e.g. handouts?
A: Yes, you will get some of the best bits and pieces that I am allowed to share with you, including some of the materials of the business school for coaches I am enrolled in.

Q: Do you offer any refunds or satisfaction guarantees?
A: No. Every participant is responsible for creating a return on their investment.

Q: Are you going to teach us how to coach better?
A: Not really, although your coaching will benefit from how you treat your business, and how you show up, how you treat yourself as a professional coach and a business owner. We can cover challenging cases with a client or a prospective client, e.g. “rejection”, “ghosting”, a client who is always late, triggers you, etc.

Q: Why 6 months?

A: My goal is to create a safe and productive space and a community for sustainable growth, experiments, and learning. Six months is a good time frame for that.

Q: Can I have more than two individual coaching sessions with you?
A: We can discuss it in our call. I can create a package for you if it’s a good commitment and makes sense for both of us.

Q: Why are you offering this Mastermind?
A: I love working with coaches, and I see the need on the market. And I am committed to service. It is my contribution and support to our profession.

Q: Is it similar to a training or workshop?
A: No. A Mastermind is a collaborative group where other coaches come together to share ideas, insights, and expertise to collectively solve problems, enhance skills, and achieve mutual goals. It is about collaboration, collective wisdom, support, and goals:

  1. Collaboration: Members actively collaborate and share their knowledge and experiences.

  2. Collective Wisdom: The group leverages the collective wisdom and creativity of its members.

  3. Mutual Support: Participants provide support, encouragement, and accountability to each other.

  4. Goal Achievement: The primary purpose is to help each member achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
